Michael P. Gilbert, Small Business Specialist

Mr. Michael P. Gilbert is the Director of Business Operations, 92nd Contracting Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington.  He directs contract operations for 37 contracting professionals who manage $70 million in contracts and a $17 million Government Purchase Card Program; directly supporting the 92nd Air Refueling Wing, the Air Force Survival School, and other associate units.  Additionally, he serves as Fairchild's Small Business Specialist, Competition Advocate, and business advisor; providing guidance and advice on all contractual matters.  Mr. Gilbert ensures the Wing's contract specialists are properly equipped, trained, and ready to support stateside and worldwide deployments.   

Mr. Gilbert honed his leadership and technical skills throughout his 30 year career in a variety of operational and contingency contract positions; including Superintendent, Team Lead, Flight Chief, and Director of Business Operations. 

Ronald R. Daniels, Small Business Specialist 

Ronald R. Daniels is the Deputy of the 92d Civil Engineer Squadron, Fairchild AFB WA.  He leads the efforts of over 360 professionals and manages a budget in excess of $37M.  He is responsible for the operations and maintenance of all base facilities, military housing, dormitories, and support infrastructure.  He provides combat engineering forces in support of global operations and provides explosive ordnance disposal, fire protection, and disaster preparedness emergency services to Fairchild AFB and the surrounding community.  He also assures environmental stewardship and compliance for the 92d Air Refueling Wing and its 17 associate units

Mr. Daniels entered the workforce in August 1984, upon graduating from the University of Utah.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer.
