A Collaboration Between OneAEC, DBIA, and AIA Spokane
OneAEC is collaborating with AIA Spokane and DBIA to host a series of events focused on the Design-Build procurement process and what it takes to be successful.
Join us on December 4th from 4:00-6:00 PM as we delve further into the D-B procurement process, building on insights from the April 2025 session “Soliciting the Right Team: The Design-Build Procurement Process – Inland Northwest.” Through presentations, breakout sessions, and hands-on exercises, attendees will explore key phases of PDB project procurement from early team formation and RFQ/SOQ development to crafting effective RFP responses and management plans. Using a fictional public project scenario, participants will learn and apply practical tools such as partner selection rubrics, qualification checklists, and collaborative frameworks to structure partnerships, define roles, and align project goals.
Architects, contractors, engineers, trade partners, and project owners will gain valuable insights into building integrated teams, developing compelling proposals, and fostering collaboration that drives project success. Interactive components, including brainstorming sessions and simulated owner feedback exercises, will reinforce best practices for communication, risk management, and decision-making. By the end of the workshop, attendees will understand how to craft RFQs/RFPs and strategize responses that meet owner needs for Progressive Design-Build procurement.
This workshop will be moderated by Tina Campanella, Marketing Director with Integrus Architecture. Tina is a skilled engagement specialist with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Speech Communication from Washington State University and an MBA from Eastern Washington University. She excels in workshop settings, engaging audiences through idea development and problem-solving pathways.
