The aerospace industry encompasses the manufacture of a wide range of aircraft and spacecraft products including passenger and military aeroplanes, helicopters, and gliders, as well as spacecraft, launch vehicles, satellites, and other space-related items.

According to industry advocates, the Spokane region is primed to become an attractive destination for startups and expanding companies in the aerospace and aviation field.

Improved transportation capabilities, increased Boeing Co. activity in the Puget Sound region, and the recent tech hub designation are among the factors contributing to the optimism.

Join OneAEC and a panel of experts to learn more about the impact that the aerospace and high tech industries are having on our region. The panel will also be discussing the urgent need for workforce in the aerospace industry and steps being made to address this need. The American Aerospace Materials Manufacturing Center’s Spokane Aerospace Tech Hub/AAMMC is adding further urgency to workforce development efforts, which will potentially have a transformative impact on the future of Spokane.
