Program Update!
Mayor Condon, our original speaker for tomorrow’s MAS program, has been unexpectedly called out of town this week. At the Mayor’s suggestion, Kyle Twohig, Engineering Operations Manager for the City of Spokane, will be speaking to our group. Kyle will be delivering the “State of the City” on what the City is doing to encourage economic development in Spokane, both externally and internally, as well as discussing the capital projects within the City that he is managing. This includes the $300 million Integrated Clean Water Project and the approximately $50 million capital projects that are funded for this year. It promises to be a great presentation.
Kyle has over 10 years of experience in construction project management. His projects have included commercial, residential, and municipal developments. His focus on keeping projects within scope, schedule, and budget even allowed him to deliver the City’s 2013 Construction Season under budget.
Kyle graduated from Loyola Marymount University and holds an MBA from Gonzaga University. He began his career with Parsons Evergreen, working on Air Force Base entrances (including Fairchild), then moved to the Inland Group to work on both the construction and development sides of apartment complex building. He is also a small business owner and a volunteer board member for the Evergreen Region Volleyball Association (ERVA). Kyle enjoys outdoor activities including volleyball, paddle boarding, and skiing, and he cherishes spending time with his wife.
