Please join us on March 14 for a half-day seminar as nationally renowned speaker Dr. Barb Jackson, Director Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management speaks on leadership in the AEC industry. OneAEC has teamed up with DBIA, AGC, AGC CLC, CSI and AIA Spokane to bring this joint presentation and you won’t want to miss her dynamic thought leading presentation.

In today’s competitive marketplace, good results aren’t good enough. With integrated teams, we can deliver beyond expectations. But to do this consistently you need to produce extraordinary results consistently. And, extraordinary results come from extraordinary performing teams. And where there is an extraordinary team, you can bet there is an inspiring leader who knows how to transform a group of individual stakeholders, contractors, and designers steeped in a history of a segregated services mentality rooted in the traditional command and control, us-against-them, design-bid-build approach to delivering projects—often with mediocre results at best, into to high-performing, challenge-driven integrated team that knows how to optimize results, generate greater value, mitigate risks, and eliminate waste.

That's why leadership--specifically, your leadership--matters. It might be hard to believe that one factor can have such a profound impact on a team's performance, but there is plenty of research that proves it over and over again. A recent study of 30,000 leaders identified one critical competency that distinguished the top 10th percentile of leaders from the rest: the ability to inspire and motivate others to high performance. In this session, you will learn why leadership and the ability to inspire is the single biggest factor in achieving extraordinary results in your teams and on your projects.

This session will also emphasize the importance of leadership in the development of high performing teams. Where there is an extraordinary team, you can bet there is an extraordinary leader. This session will focus on what it takes to become one of those leaders.  It has never been as important in successful project delivery as it is now.
