Please note we are meeting the first Thursday, June 4, and earlier than normal: officially opening doors at 11 AM, with hard start at 11:30 AM and ending by 1:15 PM.
Join us as we invite Jason Swain to provide a workshop on how to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues when conflict arises. Conflicts can range from misunderstanding what’s needed vs. what’s wanted on a project, different personalities of team members to managing client expectations. Conflicts effect performance. When communication is clear, strong and consistent with all parties, we generate high performance. When communication is unclear, weak or lacking, performance begins to break down. In the A/E/C industry, conflict—whether in your organization or with an owner or teaming partner—is hard to approach. During this workshop, Jason will share practical tools and approaches to dealing with conflicts, by taking action and developing a game plan to address challenges. In order to communicate effectively, it’s important to gain mutual understanding by tapping into your toolkit, which includes both giving and receiving feedback.
